"We went to Mallorca in did-October and stayed in Santa Ponca which has a perfect beach for kids - not too many people so we could always find a spot. The weather was way better than we expected with around 28-30 degrees and sun almost every day. The kids loved the beach of course, but also the road trips we made to Valdemossa; an old town up in the mountains, and to the main city Palma, where they could enjoy buckets of ice-cream and check out the cute little shops.
For my elderly parents, Mallorca was perfect - slow paced, friendly people and good food. Travelling with three generations takes some planning so that everybody enjoys the trip, but for me it was one of my favourite holidays of all time, even though not very adventurous or extravagant. Having dinner together every evening at a nice taverna and hanging our by the pool or the beach, talking, playing cards or just reading a book side by side - that's priceless to me."
